The views and rankings for this Top Ten Wood Carvers countdown is purely the opinion of myself and the Basswood Carving channel and the sole purpose of the video is to share the channels which have helped in the growth as well as the art of the carving community on youtube. These rankings were created for fun and were not judged on the number of subscribers or even number of views but by their Instructional value.

The growth of the carving community on youtube has been tremendous and in a time in our lives when division amongst us has never been worst, I know I can always turn to the carving community for good friends and fun.

Since the lockdowns have started and many people have not been able to attend their clubs and classes , I have found my solace in being able to grab a block of wood and my knife and join one of my carving friends on youtube. If you are new to carving I encourage you to get a knife and some basswood and join our community. Any of the carvers listed in this countdown have videos geared for beginning woodcarvers.
I know there are many great carvers out there on youtube that haven’t been listed so feel free to comment on your favorites or even any new channels that maybe haven’t been discovered even if it’s your own.

So with that being said here are our Top Ten Wood Carvers on youtube.
